By the end of 2007, Eastern Europe is expected to pass 5 million W-CDMA connections, adding more than 3 million connections from 2006. As Russia introduces W-CDMA launches, we have updated our forecasts to include the new Russian networks. Our conclusion is that Russia could double the total of W-CDMA connections in Eastern Europe in five years, to reach around 100 million users.
