MWC Las Vegas 2023: five takeaways from the show
MWC Las Vegas 2023, organised by the GSMA, in partnership with CTIA, took place at the end of September. More than 8,000 attendees from the mobile ecosystem, wider technology industry and vertical sectors convened in person to explore, discuss and shape the themes that will influence the future of North America’s mobile and digital ecosystems. This year, there was a conspicuous shift in focus to the enterprise dimension, reflecting the opportunity (and need) to monetise 5G in ways beyond the consumer, with the US high-tech economy presenting a natural proving ground. Over 380 companies displayed their latest innovations while showcasing the hottest trends in mobile connectivity and digital innovation. In this report, GSMA Intelligence examines the top five takeaways from the show and what they mean for the industry.
