Over the last 10 years, the number of MVNOs around the world has grown by 70%. As the consumer market is a major focus for MVNOs, analysing and comparing the behaviour of MVNO and MNO customers offers insight than can be used to inform business strategies and commercial decisions.

Drawing from the GSMA Intelligence consumer survey, this research compares the behaviour of MVNO and MNO customers to unveil the biggest differences and their commercial implications. The study examined 32 topics, with 11 showing major differences across seven areas. MNO customers tend to lead on various topics, but some of the differences offer growth opportunities for MVNOs (and represent areas to watch for MNOs).
