Staying safe: operators see strong demand for security as enterprises navigate pandemic
At the beginning of the pandemic, we surveyed 100 operators worldwide to understand their expectations around the impact of Covid-19 on demand from enterprises. With working from home taking off, operators anticipated that cloud infrastructure and solutions would see the strongest growth in demand, with secure and resilient connectivity a top priority.
More than a year on, we have again surveyed operators to see which services experienced the strongest growth in demand from enterprises due to Covid-19. While 2020 firmly put cloud computing on the roadmap for enterprises, security was the area of biggest growth in this latest survey. We examine the implications of this security priority for operators' plans and portfolios.
