FTTH Conference 2022: charting a course for future fibre networks

With the disruption brought about by the pandemic over the last two years, fixed broadband networks have seen traffic grow rapidly. At the recent FTTH Conference in Vienna, stakeholders from across the industry (including operators, vendors and regulators) shared their views on the state of the fibre market. Attention focused on changes in demand for fixed broadband and home networks, evolving use cases with the growth of hybrid working, the pace of network rollouts and levels of investment.
