In a new series of quarterly research, we track the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the telecoms sector through a range of metrics. We also highlight examples of operator activity to demonstrate how the sector is responding and adapting to the crisis, including the spike in data usage as a result of home working, entertainment consumption and advanced services for the SME, corporate and public sector markets to support resilience and digital transformation. In this edition, we cover the three-month period ending June (Q2), focusing on the 10 countries worst affected by Covid-19 as of 30 June: the US, Brazil, the UK, Italy, France, Spain, Mexico, India, Belgium and Russia.
