VoLTE connections and adoption forecast to 2030

This report is available to those subscribed to the Mobile Operators and Networks module.
Voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) adoption is forecast to increase to over 70% of global mobile connections by 2030, including VoNR (or voice over 5G). The shutting down of previous generation networks and the rollout of 5G deployments are expected to boost the pace of VoLTE launches over the next few years, driving customer adoption.
The GSMA Intelligence VoLTE forecast provides data at the regional, country and operator levels, including historical data back to 2018 and forecasts to 2030. It shows VoLTE connections numbers (including VoNR), VoLTE connections as a percentage of 4G and 5G, and VoLTE connections as a percentage of total connections.
