GSMA is launching a new compact research series called Region in Focus. The research complements our existing long-form Mobile Economy reports and provides targeted analysis, insights and future implications of telecoms and broader TMT market trends in a given region and key countries within it. This includes financial performance, technology developments, and underlying macro and regulatory issues.
The first edition focuses on the Middle East and North Africa region. Here, we cover financial performance to September 2018 and market developments around IoT, AI, eSIM and mobile money. We also include country analysis for the UAE, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and North Africa.
Research on other regions will be rolled out over the next six months, and from there published bi-annually for each region.
