Netflix recently released its Q4 2022 financial results, which showed the company consolidating the recovery in its subscriber performance after a difficult first half of 2022. Netflix beat its subscriber net adds guidance for the second consecutive quarter with 7.7 million net adds globally versus a forecast of 4.5 million. However, revenue growth continues to slow. In this report we take the Q4 2022 financial results as an opportunity to examine Netflix’s subscriber and financial performance, in addition to analysing its latest initiatives such as paid sharing and its new ad-supported tier.
