In 2007, the Indian cellular market has been growing at a rapid pace, adding more than 80 million cellular connections throughout the year. By end of 2008, we can expect the total cellular connections to pass the 300 million mark, outperforming the USA cellular market, set at 270 million in Q4 2008. India is therefore expected to become the second largest cellular market worldwide just behind China and after the USA and Russia.
