The large-scale societal adoption and use of digital technologies, particularly via mobile, is a key driver of measurable economic, social and cultural value, including increased productivity and employment, improved security and greater capacity to tackle social and environmental issues.
The government of Côte d’Ivoire has a vision to create a prosperous country that benefits all its inhabitants, especially for the least privileged and most vulnerable. This is in line with its commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In this report we examine how the mobile industry can continue to drive digital transformation in Côte d’Ivoire and help both the government and the population achieve their commitments under the SDGs.
