Introducing our first five multiplay markets

To complement our comprehensive mobile data coverage, GSMA Intelligence is today publishing its first view of the fixed telecoms market. Capturing fixed voice, broadband and pay-TV, this new dataset includes historical operator level data from 2010, and country-level forecast estimates to 2025, including tech breakdown.

In this first view we have included data for the US, UK, France, Spain and Portugal. Over time we will expand this dataset to cover 36 markets in total, representing approximately 90% of global fixed broadband connections.

The report “Beyond mobile: fixed, TV and convergence: introducing our first five multiplay markets” outlines our forecast methodology, insights from the first five markets, and an overview of our expanding data roadmap in this area.
