6G Trials for Resilient Europe: From SNS pilots to FP10 pre-deployment
6G Trials for Resilient Europe: from SNS pilots to FP10 pre-deployment is taking place on 21 October in Riga, Latvia.
6G is entering its last stage of research as standardization activities get underway. Early 6G trials are already showcasing important innovations with respect to previous mobile generations such as AI-centric services and Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), paving the way for commercial deployment after 2030.
6G innovation has the potential to strengthen Europe’s economic and technological resilience, supporting businesses and citizens in an increasingly fast-changing geopolitical and economic environment.
This event will bring together researchers, standardization experts, mobile operators and industry associations to explore various dimensions of 6G resilience and provide an estimate of the impact of 6G in our economies and societies in terms of additional GDP and jobs.
It will further examine how 6G trials can accelerate Europe’s transition from SNS pilot projects to large-scale pre-deployment activities under FP10, helping bridge the gap between research, experimentation, and market deployment during the 2028–2034 timeframe.
Meet our expert, Harry Aquije Ballon, who will be joining us at the event.
