New T-Mobile: A child born of 5G

On 29 July, the US Department of Justice provided clearance for the merger of T-Mobile and Sprint into an entity called New T-Mobile. The transaction is contingent on Sprint divesting its prepaid business and a portion of spectrum to Dish (for $5 billion), ostensibly to keep the US a four-player market in the long term.
